Job Title : Revenue Manager Location : Dublin, Ireland Reports to : General Manager / Director of Sales & Marketing Job Purpose To maximise hotel revenue and profitability by developing and implementing effective pricing, distribution, and yield management strategies. The Revenue Manager will analyse market trends, forecast demand, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure optimal business performance Key Responsibilities Revenue Strategy & Analysis Develop and implement dynamic pricing and yield management strategies across all revenue streams (rooms, F&B, ancillary). Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and local demand generators to inform pricing decisions. Analyse booking patterns, pace, and channel mix; identify and act on revenue opportunities. Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc revenue reports and forecasts. Chair weekly revenue meetings and collaborate on strategy with hotel leadership Forecasting & Budgeting Prepare annual revenue budgets and monthly forecasts with daily breakdowns of occupancy, rate, and segment mix. Track and report on key performance indicators (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, market share). Distribution & Channel Management Oversee rate loading, inventory management, and distribution across all channels (direct, OTA, GDS, etc.). Maintain strong relationships with third-party partners, including OTA market managers. Ensure rate parity and optimal channel mix Collaboration & Communication Work closely with sales, marketing, and digital teams to develop promotions and packages. Support additional hotels in the group with revenue management processes as required. Train and support reservations and front office teams on revenue management best practices. System & Process Management Ensure all revenue management systems (RMS, PMS, CRS) are configured and maintained correctly. Validate forecasts and system recommendations; manage system configuration and troubleshooting Key Tasks : Supervise , coordinate and input reservations (individual, group, corporate). Handle Cancelations and No Shows Charges , Refunds and Payments ( Bank Transfers , Virtual Cards, Invoices, Vouchers, Discount codes ). Ensure accuracy of bookings, distribution of rates and packages, availability, and guest information and payment instructions. Work closely with Front Office department to ensure team is fully aware of all current packages, rate plans, promotions. Ensuring all Third Party Commission statements are correct prior payment. Oversee the Property Management System (HotSoft) and booking channels (OTAs, GDS, Direct Website) Working closely with high number of Corporate Clients and ensure corporate rates are distributed correctly on GDS and internal systems. Monitor and oversee room rates, occupancy levels , and booking patterns. Manage inventory, minimum stays, strategies, pricing, and distribution channels to maximise revenue ( Expedia, GDS, Hotel WebSite , other OTAs ) Creating new packages and rate plans in HotSoft. mapping rates , adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions. Frequent meetings with Account Managers from OTA to discuss property performance and future opportunities. Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and strategies. Requirements Experience & Education Minimum 2-3 years experience in a revenue management or reservations role within the hotel industry. Experience with hotel revenue management systems (e.g., Hotsoft (preferred) Opera Cloud / V5, IDeaS G3 RMS, Travelclick CRS) is highly desirable. Knowledge of HotSoft, HotSoft Rate Manager, SiteMinder, NetAffinity , Navarino Services and other OTAs Strong analytical and numerical skills; proficiency in Excel and data analysis. Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred but not essential Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong commercial awareness and business acumen. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Methodical, process-driven, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-focused. Desirable Attributes Experience in hotel openings and / or the Dublin market. Knowledge of local market trends and competitor landscape.
