Where we work
Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays .

Prioritization & Organization : Ability to manage multiple HR responsibilities efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Skilled in identifying urgent needs, balancing short-term demands with long-term HR initiatives, and maintaining structured workflows in a high-volume environment.
What you’ll be doing :
HR Operations & Compliance :
Provide coaching and guidance to all levels of employees in EMEA regarding policies and procedures, grievance, disciplinary and performance management ensuring organizational compliance.
Support employee relations issues and participate in conflict resolution
Ownership and maintenance of our HR systems and internal records across the EMEA People Partner team.
HR Systems & Data Management :
Serve as the primary point of contact for data extraction and reporting in Workday (HRIS), generating reports on headcount, turnover, and workforce trends on an as-needed basis.
Develop and distribute monthly and quarterly reports to provide functional-level insights that support HR initiatives and strategic decision-making.
Assist in HR data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance, identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
Employee Engagement & HR Program Support :
Assist in executing HR initiatives, including employee engagement surveys, BEDI programs, and wellness initiatives.
Partner with HR teams to coordinate training sessions and HR-related communications.
Offboarding Administration :
Support the facilitation of employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and separation agreements.
What you’ll have
4+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance in EMEA, including thorough knowledge of Ireland and UK employment legislation.
Experience with HRIS systems (Workday) and proficiency in Google Workspace.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, program management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with a high level of attention to detail.
