Audit Manager – South Dublin

GPC Finance is partnering with one of Ireland's most progressive firms.

Due to continued growth and expansion, my client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their dynamic professional senior team.

This full-time role offers opportunity for career development and promotion for the right individual, who will be charged with managing a portfolio of clients.

The role involves providing audit and related services to companies and groups operating across a wide range of sectors, in addition to participating in the management of practice.

The chosen candidate will work closely with the partners and will have a real opportunity to provide a valued opinion.

Main responsibilities :

Researching and resolving technical queries from clients

• Develop and grow the firms client portfolio;
• Partake in client fee negotiation;
• To effectively lead a team in planning, managing and executing Audit engagements in an efficient, effective and timely manner;
• Supervise and train junior members of the team to ensure standards are maintained throughout the entire audit process;
• Assume full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit team; Project management – Assume responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of clients;
• Manage work in progress and billings as part of working capital management; Identifying client needs and new business opportunities within client organisations;

Skills and attributes :

Strong technical skills (FRS102 / lFRS)

Strong audit manager experience

Desirable :

Experience of Relate Software — Drive / Accounts Production / Corporation tax
