We now have a vacancy for an experienced Reservations Manager to join our team on a 1-year contract. Key Responsibilities : Work with the Sales, Marketing & Revenue teams to develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue across all departments. Monitor and analyse reservation trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Works with the Revenue Manager to communicate local market information and trends. Build and maintain relationships with customers, agents, and other stakeholders. Delivering training and assisting in the development of the reservations team Ensuring all reservations are inputted and correspondence is cross-checked from guests. Ensuring all guests needs are communicated to the Front Office Team Maximising revenue for both individual and group businesses at peak times Familiarity with various hotel internet booking sites used and in operation. Producing reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Provide regular reports and updates to the Commercial Director, Revenue Manager, General Manager and other stakeholders. Line Management and leadership of the reservations team consisting of groups executive and reservations agent, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and engaged. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed, and all regulatory requirements are met. Implement new systems and technologies as needed to improve efficiency and customer service. The ideal candidate for the Reservation Manager position will have : At least 1 years experience in a supervisory capacity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Demonstrated ability to manage a team, including mentoring and coaching staff. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. A customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to providing excellent service. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high standards even under pressure.
