Full & Part-time - Leisure Centre Attendant / Swim Teacher / Fitness Train...

Talbot Hotel Cork, part of the Talbot Collection are currently recruiting for a Full & Part-time Leisure Centre Attendant / Swim Teacher / Fitness Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Leisure Centre and delivering well-organised swim classes in line with 4-star requirements. This role requires a strong focus on providing exceptional service to members and guests, while ensuring a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment. The Leisure Centre Attendant / Swim Teacher / Fitness trainer will report to the Leisure Centre Manager.

Duties will include :

• Conducting Programmes and Assessments
• Teaching Fitness Classes
• Teaching swimming lessons
• Supervise swimming pool area
• Meet highest standard of safety
• Present professional appearance and attitude always
• Maintain a high standard of customer service
• Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency
• All other duties as assigned and appropriate
• Responsible for the safety of the participants in their own class
• Instructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessons
• Prepare for swim lesson programs (i.e. facilities, equipment, lifeguard).
• Supervise, organize, and execute swim lessons, including assigning children to levels,
