Overview / Purpose of the Role

Technical specialist reporting to the Operations Technical Manager. The successful candidate will form an integral part of the Operations Excellence team, providing efficient and effective operational support in a fast paced and busy environment. An experienced collaborator with a background in operational process and system design including implementation. The successful person will enjoy working as part of a team and will bring energy and commitment to their workplace. Working hours will be between the core hours of 8 : 30am - 5 : 30pm (37.5 hr week) Monday to Friday. Work outside these hours may be required on occasion.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all identified improvement activities, both process & systems based, are implemented in full and on time across all Business units.
• Play a key role in analysing system and process improvements with the warehouse teams in all depots.
• Act as Operational go to person for all system issues and lead root cause analysis relating to identified problems.
• Lead all testing activities from Low Volume Start Up routines relating to scheduled system transport activities to regression testing around major system upgrades.
• Actively seek out opportunities to improve efficiencies through cost and waste reduction.
• Increase the operations team's understanding and skill set around EWM through ongoing communication and training.
• Be a key part of all operational projects and ensure that we actively engage and work with all relevant stakeholders to achieve optimal results.
