Senior Manager – Structured Reinsurance

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Manager – Structured Reinsurance to join a well-known financial and actuarial firm. This permanent position is based in Dublin city centre and offers an excellent hybrid working model.

About the Senior Manager – Structured Reinsurance role

This key role focuses on the origination, structuring, and delivery of tailored reinsurance solutions for life insurance clients across Europe. The successful candidate will work within a high-performing team to support the execution of innovative transactions, while engaging with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be confident in presenting complex concepts, managing client relationships, and navigating the regulatory and capital landscape under Solvency II.

Duties for this role include(but are not limited) :

• Leading the development and implementation of bespoke life reinsurance structures that address clients’ specific risk and capital needs
• Creating pricing models and ensuring solutions align with internal frameworks around compliance, tax, and risk appetite
• Managing and growing relationships with both new and existing clients, including direct negotiations with senior decision-makers
• Supporting end-to-end transaction processes including due diligence, stakeholder presentations, and internal approval workflows

Actuarial skills required

This position would suit a qualified or senior-level actuary with over 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. A background in life insurance or reinsurance is essential. The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate :
