Job Summary We're looking for a seasoned data professional to join our team as a Senior Data Platform / Solutions Analyst.

In this role, you'll bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions, with a strong focus on data delivery across the reinsurance domain.

You'll help design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using platforms such as Snowflake.

This position is Hybrid in Dublin - Ireland.

Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, working with stakeholders across reinsurance and actuarial teams.Data Architecture & ModelingPartner with data engineers to design efficient and scalable data models and pipelines that ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.Support the end-to-end process : design, development, and deployment of data-driven solutions such as ETL processes, data marts, and reporting dashboards.Develop strong relationships with business users, translating technical details into actionable insights and business-friendly language.Data Troubleshooting & OptimisationIdentify and resolve data-related issues using advanced SQL and analytical techniques.

Ensure data integrity and support continuous improvement efforts.Requirements for the role Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field5+ years of experience in data analysis, data modelling, and solution deliveryStrong understanding of reinsurance operations and data domainsPrior experience working with actuarial teams or actuarial dataProficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Business Objects)Experience with data warehousing and lakehouse architectureFamiliarity with ETL tools and data integration conceptsExcellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skillsFluent in EnglishMust be a Europeancitizen or have a work permit for IrelandPreferred : Experience with modern cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake and / or Data Virtuality Exposure to data governance and metadata management

Background in actuarial science or reinsurance underwriting / claims analytics
