My client is a leading non-life insurance provider who seeking aFinancial / Project Accountantfor a long term Fixed Term Contract. Working closely with the Finance Manager you will manage financial reporting, support budget and forecast processes, and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP across designated Local Business Units. Youll play a key role in consolidation, reinsurance reporting, and ERP migration to SAP 4 / Hana. Responsibilities : Manage and control monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for designated Local Business Units (LBUs) Review and analyse P&L and balance sheets, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP Liaise with key stakeholders on intercompany reconciliations, reinsurance reporting, and audit preparation Play a key role in the migration of ERP system from SAP ECC to SAP 4 / Hana Support onboarding and integration of new LBUs Ad hoc project work as assigned by the Finance Manager and / or CFO Qualifications : The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant working within a Finance department with exposure to general ledger account reconciliations, online banking, credit control, accounts preparation and financial reporting. The successful candidate will ideally have : A professional Accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CPA) Insurance / Reinsurance background and accounting experience Banking and / or Financial Services background will also be considered Experience with ERP (SAP) reporting system and / or large ERP implementation Strong Excel and MS Office skills Analytical, detail-oriented, and self-driven Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Agile and flexible mindset to work across multiple projects The successful candidate must have : Excellent numeric skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Excellent knowledge of and ability to use all MS Office programs A strong ability to work on their own initiative Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and relationship building skills Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills An ability to learn a role quickly following period of training Skills : Financial Reporting Financial Accounting ERP Implementation
