Customs Clearance

Responsibilities

• Import and export customs declaration.
• Processing imports / exports – generating import / export declarations / SADs.
• Conduct thorough due diligence checks and follow escalation processes where needed.
• Run all activities associated with processing customs documents.
• Deal with the customs authority on a daily basis.
• Ensure accuracy of entries and VAT / excise / duty calculation.
• Ensure any queries / refunds are followed up and resolved immediately.
• Effectively resolve any queries, issues and delays and continuously propose solutions to improve clients’ experience.
• Participate in and provide feedback to the recruitment and selection process.
• Manage and implement customer authorisations ensuring correct clearance procedures are followed.
