We support our member credit unions through leadership, guidance, advocacy, and shared services.
Our IT team plays a vital role in delivering secure, reliable, and responsive digital services across the organisation.
Role SummaryThe IT & Platform Coordinator is a key member of the internal IT function, providing first-line support to staff, managing core platforms such as our CRM and Monday.com, maintaining IT assets and licenses, and ensuring smooth collaboration with our Managed Service Provider (MSP).
This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive, tech-savvy, and people-focused approach.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Support & TroubleshootingAct as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests.Provide user support across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, CRM, and Monday.com.Set up and maintain user devices and accounts, including onboarding / offboarding.Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues; escalate complex matters to the MSP.Platform & Systems AdministrationAssist with administration and maintenance of internal platforms including CRM, Monday.com, and Microsoft 365.Ensure appropriate user access, permissions, and configurations across systems.Monitor system performance and flag risks or outages promptly.Asset & License ManagementMaintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware assignment and software licenses.Track procurement, renewals, warranties, and end-of-life cycles.Support procurement by logging needs and coordinating with vendors as required.MSP Coordination & SLA MonitoringLiaise with the MSP to ensure effective resolution of support tickets.Monitor performance against agreed SLAs and document issue trends.Maintain support logs and assist the IT Manager in periodic service reviews.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain up-to-date IT documentation including procedures, incident logs, and inventory.Ensure all activities align with ILCU policies, GDPR, and data protection standards.Support the IT Manager with compliance checks, audits, and security measures.Working ConditionsMonday to Friday, 35 hours per week.Hybrid working model available.Occasional flexibility may be required to support system upgrades or critical incidents outside normal hours.Performance & DevelopmentTimely and effective triage and resolution of IT issues.Up-to-date and accurate asset / license records.Positive internal feedback on support and responsiveness.Proactive contribution to system improvements and documentation.This role offers scope for development in systems administration, platform ownership, and broader IT operations.Participation in regular performance and development reviews.Qualifications & ExperienceIdeally 2–3 years' experience in an IT support, systems admin, or digital platforms roll.Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and desktop troubleshooting.Experience supporting CRM systems and digital collaboration tools (e.g.
Monday.com).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks independently.Familiarity with cloud platforms and IT support environments.Experience using ticketing systems or helpdesk tools.Exposure to basic coding or scripting (e.g.
PowerShell, SQL, HTML) is a plus.Knowledge of GDPR and general IT compliance practices.Familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe InDesign is welcomeApproachable, helpful, and solutions-focused.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.Comfortable working both independently and in a small team environment.Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.Clear communicator with the ability to explain technical issues in plain language.To applyPlease submit your CV and cover letter detailing yoursuitability and interest in the role using the application link below
