Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the management of Health and Safety on-site, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Review and comment on design drawings, raising RFIs as needed.
- Actively participate in Design Team Meetings, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding design issues.
- Communicate approved technical submittals to relevant site teams.
- Understand and report on the delivery programme, intervening proactively to avoid delays.
- Coordinate subcontractors and service providers to meet testing and commissioning deadlines.
- Monitor quality control of subcontractor work and supplier deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, design specifications, and applicable standards.
- Conduct continuous site inspections, recording and resolving issues promptly.
- Promote and implement internal quality management systems across the team.
- Lead on technical submittals, benchmarks, and inspection processes.
- Ensure digital management systems and BCAR compliance are maintained.
- Oversee benchmarking processes and participate in scaffold inspections as required.
- Manage site drawings and maintain accurate site records and QA documentation.
- Oversee specific work packages, including tender input, scope understanding, subcontractor programme monitoring, material ordering, and trade coordination.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Lead the implementation of Temporary Works Management.
- Manage third-party stakeholders such as utility providers and local authorities.
- Drive value engineering by challenging design and identifying efficiencies.
- Support early stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Lead and mentor the engineering team, including development planning for direct reports.
- Chair site and construction team meetings.
- Promote a best-in-class customer experience and uphold the client's brand values.
Candidate Profile :
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a similar role.Degree qualification in Engineering or equivalent.Proven ability to meet demanding time and quality targets.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Detail-oriented, methodical, and accurate.Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities.Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities.Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for tasks.What's on Offer :
