Finishing Foreman

We are presently recruiting a Construction Finishing Foreman to oversee and manage the finishing phase of construction projects in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. This is a full time, permanent position.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for ensuring that all finishing work is completed to the highest standards and within the specified timelines.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
• Overseeing project schedules : Ensure that all finishing work is completed on time and within budget.
• Supervising construction workers and subcontractors : Provide guidance and direction to ensure tasks are performed correctly and promptly.
• Reporting on project progress : Keep senior managers and stakeholders informed about the status of the finishing work.
• Maintaining quality control checks : Perform regular inspections to ensure the highest quality of work.
• Coordinating teams : Organize and manage the movement of on-site labour, materials, and machinery.
• Day-to-day problem solving : Address any issues that arise during the finishing phase to prevent project delays.
• Signing off and handing completed work over to the client : Ensure that all work is finished to the agreed standards and specifications
