Job Title : Sous Chef Location : South Dublin Salary : €40,000 - €45,000 DOE Hours : 5 days over 7 - shifts between 9 : 00 AM and 11 : 00 PM About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected client for an experienced Sous Chef to join a high-standard establishment in South Dublin. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will be part of a dedicated team, playing a key role in maintaining exceptional kitchen operations. Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and staff management Oversee daily kitchen activities ensuring food quality and presentation meet high standards Prepare and cook dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail Contribute innovative ideas to menu planning, keeping the food offering fresh and exciting Maintain excellent knowledge and compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimise efficiency and profitability Requirements Proven experience as a Sous Chef or higher in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment Right to work in Ireland with appropriate documentation Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment Flexibility to work shifts including nights and weekends Creative culinary flair with a passion for innovation and current culinary trends Benefits Competitive salary package Free onsite car parking Staff Fund Program On-site meals provided Skills : Leadership Team Management Organisational Culinary creativity
