Old Town Wine Bar, a stylish new venue in the heart of Le Pole Square, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the guest experience in one of Dublins most anticipated new wine-focused venues. As Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operations of the wine bar, working closely with the Bar Manager to ensure exceptional service, smooth team coordination, and the delivery of memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities : Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the wine bar to ensure consistent service and high standards Lead, support, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver excellent guest experiences Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction Work closely with the Senior Wine Waiter / Sommelier and culinary team to create seamless wine and food pairings Monitor staff performance and assist with training and onboarding of new team members Assist in managing inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations Support planning and execution of events, wine tastings, and promotions Step in for the Bar Manager as needed in their absence Qualifications : Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role in a wine bar, restaurant, or hospitality venue Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end environment Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills A passion for wine, food, and creating memorable guest experiences Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Wine knowledge or qualifications (e.g. WSET) a plus, but not essential Benefits : The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Dublin is part of a dynamic and growing company offering a range of training and development opportunities.
