Bar Floor Supervisor
In this role, you will become part of the FX Buckley family and work within Food & Beverage in FXB Bull & Castle, Christchurch, Dublin 2

Report to : Bar Manager and General Manager
As a Floor Supervisor you need to :
Have experience working in a high-volume cocktail bar / restaurant
Have a big personality, to go with a big smile
Be expressive and engaging
Be organized with an ability to work well under pressure with an ability to make decisions fast
Be a charismatic leader and mentor; you will be managing a small team in super high paste venue
The Role
- A Floor Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the smooth running of the restaurant by maintaining the standards and ensuring all staff follow guidelines and procedures. They must ensure all elements of the dining experience are exemplary for all guests.
- A Floor Supervisor should always be enthusiastic and polite.
- Possess a friendly yet disciplined approach with outstanding customer service skills and be immaculately presented.
- A natural leader, who will ensure the team are always well trained and briefed.
- As Floor Supervisor you must have great Food and beverage product knowledge, with an awareness of menus and pricing
- Assist guests regarding their needs and make recommendations.
- You will have a good knowledge of quality fresh food, a sound understanding of wine, and excellent customer service skills, with the natural ability to motivate and coach your team to meet the standards expected.
- Have good knowledge of beers, wines & spirits.
- Has the ability to communicate with, and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels but most of all an unquestionable enthusiasm to lead and develop you and your team
- Excellent organisational skills are also required for this demanding role.
- Takes overall responsibility for guest and staff satisfaction, by managing the restaurant operations
- Seeks opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback, and evaluating service levels, and developing strategies to improve areas of concern
The Requirements
You must have a minimum 2 years' experience as an experienced Floor Supervisor, restaurant or bar assistant manager.A team player and be fully involved in every aspect of service.To maintain the high Service Excellence standards that are expected you will need to have a strong Food and Beverage background.Understanding of the industry and competitorsFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situationsAbility to work under pressureAbility to remain calm in pressurised circumstances and deal with challenging situationsAble to develop and guide others in professional growth and performanceParticipate in training provided by the CompanyAbility to deliver high standards and consistency at all timesAdhere to all procedures and guidelines as specified in FXB Employee Handbook and the Employee Safety HandbookMust have a valid working permit
