Job Description : Description : The Risk & Compliance function is responsible for overseeing the Enterprise Risk Management framework within Mercer Global Investments Management Limited ("MGIM"), based in Dublin.
The function must meet the expectations of stakeholders including Boards of Directors, the Central Bank of Ireland, and front-line business units to ensure risks are identified, mitigated, and monitored effectively.
A key focus is to perform the PCF 14 and PCF 39B roles and report directly to the MGIM Board.
This role ensures the Investments business's Enterprise Risk Management operates effectively and aligns with industry and regulatory standards.
The role involves developing and implementing risk management programs, conducting risk reviews, producing management reports, and communicating with senior management, the Board, and regulators.
The role is also a primary contact for risk communication with the Central Bank of Ireland.
Responsibilities include : Fostering a risk-aware culture across the company.
Implementing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework, including policies, risk registers, and monitoring plans.
Developing risk programs, conducting reviews, and managing operational risks.
Producing management information for senior leadership and committees.
Supporting regulatory compliance and staying updated on external risks and regulations.
Performing risk reviews and supporting oversight activities.
Engaging with regulators, auditors, and external parties on risk matters.
Supporting regulatory projects and new initiatives.
Requirements : At least seven years of enterprise / operational risk experience in financial services, preferably in fund management, investment, or insurance.
Understanding of Irish and EU regulatory environments, including UCITS, AIFMD, and MiFID.
Experience dealing with the Central Bank of Ireland on reviews and communications.
Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred : Proven track record in asset or fund management risk roles.
Previous PCF designation.
