Warehouse Supervisor

Excel Recruitment is looking for an Experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a team based in South Dublin.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role and several years of experience in warehousing and logistics.

This position offers a salary in the range of 40-45k.

Key Responsibilities : Overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities, such as receiving, storing, and shipping of products.

Managing and leading a team of warehouse workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.

Monitoring inventory levels and participating in regular inventory counts.

Optimising warehouse layout and storage configurations to maximise efficiency.

Maintaining accurate records of warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory.

Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment.

Essential Qualifications : Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and other departments.

Proficient in inventory management and record-keeping.

Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities.

Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse machinery is a plus.

Day-to-day Responsibilities : Organising and prioritising daily activities within the warehouse.

Leading and motivating warehouse team members to meet productivity goals.

Conducting regular walkthroughs of the warehouse to ensure safety and efficiency.

Communicating and collaborating with other departments to fulfil orders and resolve any issues.

Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating restocking activities.

Supervising and participating in loading and unloading of shipments.

Training and providing ongoing support for warehouse staff.
