Job descriptionLead and manage all clinical and operational aspects of the centre. Ensure regulatory compliance and preparedness for HIQA inspections. Oversee staffing, training, and professional development. Implement governance, risk management, audits, and quality improvement. Act as liaison with the Registered Provider, HIQA, residents, and families. Promote a culture of dignity, safety, and continuous improvement. Care Network Ireland are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing / PIC to lead clinical, operational, and regulatory governance in our private nursing home in Co.Wexford. This senior role ensures safe, high-quality, person-centred care in compliance with the Health Act 2007 , HIQA Regulations, and National Standards.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration.
- Minimum 3 years' senior management experience in residential care for older persons.
- Strong knowledge of HIQA Regulations, Health Act 2007, and National Standards.
- QQI Level 6+ Management qualification in Health / Social Care (essential).
- Postgraduate qualification in Leadership, Gerontology, or related field (desirable).
