Assistant Director of Nursing

Assistant Director of Nursing position available in our Oakfield Nursing Home.

Working with the Director of Nursing, the successful candidate will work to ensure that the highest standards of nursing care are delivered to residents and support and promote the creation of a homely environment where the quality of life of our residents is the key focus.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years relevant ADON or acting ADON experience is desirable;
• Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI);
• Demonstrable clinical and professional ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills;
• Working knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures and guidelines;
• Post registration qualification in gerontology and / or dementia care is highly desirable;
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
