Chief Information Officer

We are exponentially growing both in Ireland and internationally and we are looking to hire a Chief Information Officer responsible for leading the strategic and operational direction of internal technology infrastructure and process transformation. Reporting to the CEO, this role will play a critical part in building scalable, efficient systems, driving innovation, and ensuring a seamlessly integrated technology stack that supports our continued expansion. Nostra has offices in Dublin, Galway and Cork. Key Responsibilities : Technology Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute internal IT strategies that support company objectives, growth, and MSP service delivery excellence. Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing technology stack. Benchmark internal systems and toolsets against current MSP industry standards and competitive offerings. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or outdated platforms that hinder scalability or profitability. Lead an objective analysis of alternative technologies based on business fit, integration potential, licensing model, vendor support, and total cost of ownership. Present clear, data-backed recommendations to the executive team with ROI analysis and implementation timelines. Develop and implement a prioritized technology improvement roadmap aligned with business growth, service offerings, and client SLAs. Evaluate and implement technologies that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and security. Collaborate with department heads to align technology with business processes and support cross-functional initiatives. Process Transformation & Improvement Lead cross-functional initiatives to map existing business processes. Identifyinefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for automation or streamlining across departments. Develop and implement continuous improvement frameworks, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor and measure process improvements. Operations & Management Oversee internal systems, automation tools and platforms, to ensure high performance of all service delivery tools. Provide oversight and leadership for internal IT projects, migrations, and tool integrations. Establish governance and best practices for documentation, change management, and ITIL processes. Manage vendor relationships, license compliance, and internal IT procurement. Lead, mentor, and develop the internal IT team, with a focus on proactive operations and innovation. Prepare and manage the internal IT budget and long-term technology roadmaps. Requirements : 10+ years in senior IT leadership roles, operations or process improvement roles, ideally within an MSP or IT services company. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across departments. Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters preferred). PMP, ITIL, or other project and service management certifications. Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred). Understanding of MSP platforms such as Autotask, ServiceNow or Halo is preferrable. Deep understanding of IT operations, service delivery models, and security frameworks. Demonstrated experience improving internal systems to support scalability and client delivery. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Benefits : Generous professional development budget.
