Sample Collection Driver (North-West)

Overview

Fitz Scientific is a leading environmental monitoring and testing company based in Drogheda Co.

Louth.

The company is seeking to appoint a Sample Collection Driver.

This role is responsible for the collection of samples in the North West region and delivering them to the laboratory in Drogheda, ensuring at each stage the highest quality and technical standards are adhered to.

Ideally the person could start from Monaghan, Enniskillen or Glenties in Donegal.

Responsibilities

Collect samples in the North West region and deliver them to the laboratory in Drogheda.

Ensure high quality and technical standards at every stage of the process.

Qualifications

Full clean category B driving licence – no penalty points; proof from the National Driver Licence Service (NDLS) will be required.

2-3 years' experience in a driving role.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills and to act with integrity.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Working hours

Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

Compensation

Salary €30k plus daily subsistence allowance.

Additional information

Appointment to this position is subject to the candidate's eligibility to work in Ireland.
