Global Procurement Category Manager Indirect

We are partnering with a leading multinational to recruit an experienced Global Category Manager to join their global procurement team. This role offers the chance to influence procurement strategy on a global scale, working across regions and business units. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for a major global category with up to 300M spend. Align global procurement strategies with regional needs and business objectives Drive performance on key metrics such as cost optimisation, supplier rationalisation, compliance, and working capital Manage supplier relationships and contracts with a focus on performance, risk, and data security Guide and mentor regional category teams, ensuring consistent execution and continuous improvement Foster adoption of internal tools and preferred suppliers through stakeholder engagement Ideal Candidate Profile 10+ years' experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management, ideally with a global or regional remit Demonstrated expertise in managing indirect procurement categories such as travel within a complex international business Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills across multiple functions and geographies Proven track record of driving cost savings, compliance, and process improvements Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative leadership style Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools A relevant Master's degree (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Procurement) is preferred Why Apply?
