Automation Engineer - Ireland, North Dublin - 12 Months Initial Contract.

When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people.
They are looking to add to their team and require an Automation Engineer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following :
Working as part of the project team providing technical oversight and input to the discovery and detailed design phase through company procedures implementation.
Work closely with vendors of OEM equipment to ensure deliverables meet project requirements, including the interfacing of new OEM equipment with existing site systems.
Work closely with the QAIT function and ensure their requirements are met in all activities.
Participate in Hardware and Software FATs and SATs.
Provide input to the development of project schedules and document trackers.
Participate in, and support, relevant project meetings.
Experience with Siemens systems.
Experience with iFIX (SCADA) - Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control.
Requires extensive experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent computer skills, proficient in the use of the following Microsoft tools : Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Relevant Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent.
