Building Surveyor

Building Surveyors Cork €40-50k

A well-established Consultancy are on the lookout for Building Surveyors to join their team in Cork to work across a wide range of projects and sectors.

You'll be required to provide sound technical and professional advice to clients and internal stakeholders relating to the Building Surveying scope of services, which will include design and specification, contract administration, dilapidations, building conservation, technical due diligence and surveys.

The Role

Undertaking Building Surveyor's inspections and preparing reports

Inspect and provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of buildings and sites.

Inspections to involve acquisition surveys, condition reports, measured surveys and defect investigations.

To prepare reports, schedules of work and works specifications.

Negotiating schedules of dilapidations / preparing exit strategies

Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required

Requirements

A Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline.

Recently Chartered or working towards Chartership

3+ years of experience

Have a good understanding of Building and Planning Regulations,

Have a good knowledge of architectural and technical detailing.
