Business Unit Manager - Medical Devices & MedTech Base : €80,000 - €85,000 + €30,000 Bonus | Car | Mobile | Laptop | Pension | 24 Days Leave | Life Assurance | Income Protection Location : Leinster (covering Ireland) THE COMPANY : Our client is a leading supplier of medical devices and equipment to hospitals, nursing homes, and the wider healthcare sector across Ireland. With decades of success in the market and significant investment into new product areas, they are now seeking a Business Unit Manager to take full ownership of one of their key divisions. THE ROLE : This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for strategy, sales performance, and growth within a defined medical devices business unit. You will manage and mentor a team of Product Specialists covering Ireland, driving both new business and account growth across hospital, community, and residential care channels. Key responsibilities will include : Developing and executing the business unit strategy in line with company objectives Full P&L ownership, including forecasting, reporting, and budget management Leading, coaching, and supporting a field-based sales team, with responsibility for training, recruitment, and performance management Driving sales growth across the division through business development, tender support, and key account management Monitoring market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategy to maximise growth opportunities Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across hospitals (HSE & private), nursing homes, and community care providers THE PERSON : We are looking to speak with ambitious and commercially focused individuals who have : Proven experience in the medical devices or medtech sector Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse data, manage budgets, and deliver profitable growth People management or leadership experience - desirable but not essential Entrepreneurial mindset - may also suit a senior medical sales professional ready to step into management Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to influence at all levels Based in Leinster, with flexibility to travel across Ireland Full, clean driving licence THE PACKAGE : Base Salary : €80,000 - €85,000 (DOE) Bonus : €30,000 OTE Company Car Mobile & Laptop Pension Scheme Healthcare, Life Assurance & Income Protection 23 Days Annual Leave Full senior management benefits package This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with full autonomy, responsibility, and genuine scope for growth in a market-leading healthcare organisation.
