Terms : 1-year fixed term contract

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to support an active young man with autism living in Kilcock, Co Kildare. This gentleman loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time in his local community. Your role is to support him to develop his independence in his home and to lead a meaningful, inclusive, enjoyable life. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic person who can work on their own initiative with a positive outlook.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA :

Experience in the social care / intellectual disability sector

Experience of supporing a people with autism

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

Full, clean driver's license

Available to work residential hours which will include shift work / sleepovers and weekends.

Hold a relevant qualification in area of health / social care

SALARY :

Competitive salary based on HSE PayScale's.
