St Audoen's Preschool is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Childcare Worker to join our dedicated team.

This position is funded through the Access and Inclusion Model (AIMs) and involves supporting children within our inclusive preschool setting.

About the Role

Position :

Childcare Worker (AIMs Support)

Hours :

15 hours per week during ECCE session times

Contract :

Fixed-term for the preschool year 2025 / 2026

Location :

St Audoen's Preschool, Dublin 8

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and group support for children with additional needs, enabling them to fully participate in daily preschool activities.

Work closely with the room leader and team to deliver an inclusive, child-centred approach guided by Aistear and Síolta.

Support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe and caring environment.

Contribute positively to our collaborative and supportive preschool team.

Requirements

Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education.

A warm, caring and professional approach to working with children.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A commitment to inclusion, equality and child-centred practice.
