• Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work. REF : 86155 The Children and Young People's Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families. The candidates are also required to work in partnership with families within a family centred model. Essential : FETAC Level 5 / QQ I in Healthcare / Social Care / Early Childhood / or a related discipline, or be in pursuit of same. Previous experience in the area of intellectual disabilities is desirable. Ability to effectively manage their time; work on their own initiative. Ability to be flexible and creative. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Be committed to promoting the active engagement and participation of individuals in their local communities. Be person centred in approach to enabling individuals to maximise their independence and develop meaningful roles in society. Be available to work evenings and weekends. Why work with us?
