RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring an General Manager / Person in Charge (PIC) for a Nursing home in North Dublin , Ireland.
Responsibilities
- As the Person in Charge (PIC), as defined by the Health Act of 2007 and HIQA regulations, assume complete accountability.
- Give employees strong, observable leadership to maintain a happy workplace and great morale.
- Help create and carry out operational and strategic plans for the house.
- Make sure that resources are used effectively and efficiently.
- Make certain that residents always receive excellent, person-centered care.
- Oversee risk assessments, care planning, and the provision of individualized services.
- Keep an eye on incident management, clinical governance, and safety procedures.
- Encourage ongoing efforts to improve quality.
- Continue to adhere strictly to HIQA policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee the planning and execution of HIQA audits and inspections.
- Keep all of the records and reports that are mandated by law.
- Make that HIQA and other pertinent parties receive timely and suitable notices.
Requirements
Possess an active PIN and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).Within the last six years, at least three years of experience in a managerial capacity in a hospital setting.Thorough familiarity with the Health Act of 2007, HIQA standards, and pertinent statutory requirements.Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills in a medical setting.Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and decision-making abilities.Demonstrated capacity to motivate and lead groups of people to provide high-quality care.Benefits
