A leading global financial institution is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to join their Risk and Data Transformation team. This is a high-impact role focused on regulatory reporting and data governance initiatives, especially aligned to BCBS-239 compliance.

Your New Role

As a Senior Business Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for driving transformation efforts aligned with enterprise data governance policies and risk reporting standards. You’ll collaborate with business data owners and technology partners, define critical data elements, manage data quality remediation, and ensure end-to-end data flow understanding. You’ll also support the development of lineage documentation, process mapping, and change management related to data governance procedures.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 12+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with strong exposure to risk and regulatory reporting
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, data lineage, and governance frameworks (BCBS-239 knowledge preferred)
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across global teams
• A self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to lead complex, data-intensive initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
