Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Finishing Foreman to join our team and play a vital role in completing projects to the highest standards.

About Your New Job As a Finishing Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the final stages of construction, ensuring that all finishing works are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage a team of tradesmen and subcontractors, while also ensuring that health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee all finishing works on-site, including internal finishes such as flooring, painting, tiling, joinery, and final fixture installations.Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and meets the required quality standards.Conduct quality control checks throughout the finishing phase to ensure that all work is up to specification and free from defects.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on-site and promote a safety-first culture.Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure work is carried out as per the client's requirements and timelines.Manage the timely delivery and installation of finishing materials and resources.Conduct snagging and final inspections to ensure that the project is completed to the highest standard before handover.What Skills You Need : A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Finishing Foreman or in a similar role within the commercial or residential construction industry.Strong knowledge of finishing trades, including plastering, painting, tiling, and joinery.Experience managing teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and the site team.Full understanding of health & safety regulations and on-site practices.CSCS Card and Safe Pass (or equivalent) required.A background in construction or relevant trades, with knowledge of Irish construction standards and regulations, is preferred.Professional qualifications or training in construction, such as a trade apprenticeship or supervisory role.Experience working with an Irish contractor or on Irish-based projects.Knowledge of construction software or project management tools.What's on Offer Competitive Salary with the opportunity to grow and develop your career in a well established company that offer constant learning development opportunities.
