We are partnering with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join their residential development project in Shankill, South Dublin . This role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a prestigious development while advancing your career within a reputable organization.

Responsibilities

  • Construction Oversight Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams for seamless project execution.
  • Team Leadership Lead and mentor on-site personnel, promoting a safe, efficient, and positive working environment.Foster collaboration and teamwork among staff and contractors.
  • Plan Implementation Work with project managers to interpret and implement drawings, specifications, and project plans accurately.
  • Quality & Progress Monitoring Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring high-quality finishes and timely resolution of any issues.Monitor construction progress, taking corrective actions to maintain quality and schedule compliance.
  • Health & Safety Enforce stringent safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among the team.
  • Stakeholder Liaison Provide regular updates to project managers, architects, engineers, and clients, addressing any concerns or queries.
  • Resource & Budget Management Manage materials, equipment, and resources efficiently, ensuring timely procurement and effective use.Maintain awareness of budgetary constraints and suggest cost-saving measures when possible.
  • Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.Provide detailed project status updates to stakeholders.

    • Requirements

  • Experience : Proven track record as a Finishing Foreman in the construction industry, ideally with projects exceeding €50m in value.Experience in residential developments is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, finishing techniques, regulations, and safety standards.Proficiency in interpreting project drawings and specifications.
  • Skills : Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Problem-solving and decision-making in high-pressure environments.Proficiency in construction project management software and tools.
  • Attributes : Commitment to quality and safety excellence.Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Flexibility : Availability to work flexible hours as required by project timelines.
