AV Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Audio Visual Remote Monitoring and Escalation Support Engineer to join their expanding technical support team, based in Dublin South. The Role This exciting position is focused on the remote monitoring, support, and escalation of AV systems across a wide client base. Initially, your time will be split between client sites and remote monitoring, eventually transitioning to a full-time remote role as the remote services offering grows. You will serve as a key escalation point for field engineers and provide advanced technical support to ensure seamless AV system performance. Key Responsibilities Real-time monitoring and management of remote AV systems. Immediate action on alerts in line with client SLAs. Escalation point for technical troubleshooting and advanced diagnostics. Liaison with client representatives and AV manufacturers for issue resolution. Maintenance and service of digital signage and content systems. On-site and remote AV systems maintenance and repair. Audio / video system tuning and performance optimization. Support of Unified Communications systems (Teams, Zoom, Cisco, etc.). Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Requirements Degree / Diploma in a technical or engineering discipline (or equivalent experience). Strong networking knowledge, including VPNs (CCNA or similar preferred). Industry certifications in AV tech (e.g., Crestron, QSYS, Biamp, Poly) are highly advantageous. Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate AV service roles. Proficient in signal flow, DSP systems, and remote access tools. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
