Human Resources Executive

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Human Resources Executive for the Galmont Hotel. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Galway City Centre, ideal for a confident HR professional ready to take the next step in their career. About the Role - As HR Executive, you will oversee the full HR function. From recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, learning and development, and performance management, youll play a key role in shaping a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Responsibilities Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes across both Galway properties. Actively manage Alkimii (HRIS), ensuring employee records and communications are accurate and up to date. Support managers in areas such as employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and performance management. Lead the performance review cycle and provide guidance on career progression. Promote a culture of openness, inclusion, and respect across all departments. Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practices. Coordinate and support grievance processes and conflict resolution. Track employee retention and turnover, identifying areas for improvement. Maintain up-to-date HR files and oversee GDPR compliance. Coordinate employee engagement and recognition programmes, including referral schemes. Required Skills Proven experience as a Senior HR Advisor role. Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR compliance. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a hands-on approach. Confident in using HR systems (experience with Alkimii is an advantage). A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality environment.
