We are currently recruiting on behalf of a landmark new 5-star resort set to open on the West Coast of Ireland in Spring 2026. This highly anticipated opening will set a new standard in Irish hospitality, combining world-class facilities with refined luxury and breathtaking coastal surroundings. This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished Executive Head Chef to join the senior pre-opening team and shape the culinary vision from the ground up. From designing concepts and recruiting the brigade, to launching multiple dining outlets and creating a signature culinary identity, this is a flagship role for a chef with ambition, flair, and strategic leadership. About the Role : The Executive Head Chef will lead the development and execution of the resorts full culinary offering. Working closely with the senior management, youll be responsible for building and mentoring a best-in-class kitchen team, ensuring excellence, consistency, and creativity across every plate. Some of the responsibilities : Create and execute menus that reflect the best of Irish produce Recruit, train, and lead a brigade of chefs across multiple kitchens Drive kitchen operations in line with 5-star standards and brand expectations Oversee food safety (HACCP), cost control, GP targets, and supplier partnerships Collaborate with the operations teams to ensure seamless readiness for Spring 2026 Uphold a strong sustainability and sourcing ethos throughout all menus The Ideal Candidate : Senior Head Chef or Executive Chef experience within 5-star hotel, resort, or luxury restaurant environments Proven ability to manage large teams and multi-outlet operations Passionate about Irish produce, regional identity, and seasonality Natural leader with excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills International branded hotel experience highly desirable Salary & Benefits : Superb base salary plus pension, healthcare and bonus Pre-opening leadership role with strategic input from day one Full support from an experienced and forward-thinking executive team Long-term career opportunity in a high-profile, high-standard resort project Please note, we can only assist applicants with a legal right to live and work fulltime in Ireland as we do not sponsor visas or work permits.
