Job Title : Front Desk Agent Reports to : General Manager Rate of Pay : €13.50 / hour Schedule : Flexible Job Summary As a Front Desk Agent for our 22 unit property, you will be a vital member of our Front Desk team, dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience from check-in through check-out. This is an exciting opportunity to significantly influence the first impressions of our Guests, and you will be responsible for performing all assigned tasks to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities : Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check-in and check-out procedures. Ensure that the General Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and / or other departments. Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times, with a strong focus on providing an exceptional guest experience. Attend appropriate training courses, when required. Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties. Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities. Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation. Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems, including the Room Racoon Property Management System (PMS). Follow company brand standards. Assist other departments, as necessary. Key Skills : Fluency in English (oral and written) Customer Service experience in Hospitality or similar. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Multitasking abilities. Computer proficiency. Attention to detail. Positive and professional demeanor. Ability to stand for extended periods. Previous front desk experience preferred.
