The Team and the opportunity Our Finance Transformation team delivers globally integrated Finance service offerings to our clients.

Our Finance team assists clients in building Finance functions that are business-focused, cost-effective and agile in meeting the needs of all their stakeholders.

These offerings include :

Agile Business Finance – Delivering an optimised Finance function by ensuring a collaborative alignment between Finance, Business and Technology.Value and Performance Management – Enabling Finance functions to identify and deliver sustainable long-term value.Global Business Services – Developing high performing operating models through process simplification and standardisation.Finance Strategy and Operating Model – Development of a digital finance vision and transformation roadmap.We are seeking experienced insurance consulting professionals who will contribute to the continued growth of our Finance Transformation services in Ireland.

Your key responsibilities Work as part of client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.Exceptional problem-solving ability including logical reasoning and creative thinking.Deliver high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.Demonstrate understanding in project management fundamentals.Collaborate with clients to identify business goals and challenges.Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders.Support EY's service offerings.Innovate and develop creative solutions to client challenges.Articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.Maintain strong organizational skills and manage multiple tasks.Cultivate and maintain trusted client relationships.Stay updated on the latest trends in the Financial Services industry.Work effectively within EY engagement teams.Skills and attributes for success Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Understanding of Insurance and finance landscape.Quick to understand intricate business challenges.Experience of full project lifecycle from concept through to implementation.Demonstrate professionalism and rapidly establish personal credibility.Exhibit strong personal impact and resilience.Collaborative team player with a forward-thinking mindset.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.To qualify for the role, you must have Strong academic record including a third level degree in a relevant area.Minimum 2-5 years of experience in delivering change in an insurance function environment.Exceptional analytical and communication skills.Proven experience in developing structured presentations using PowerPoint.Ideally, you will also have Previous experience in Consulting or relevant industry experience in a Financial Institution.Knowledge of regulations such as IFRS 17 and Solvency II.Project Management Cert / Qualification is an advantage.Lean six sigma qualification is an advantage.Project Management and / or Agile certification.What we look for Someone who enjoys working as part of a community that values integrity and respect.Someone with energy, enthusiasm, and courage who enjoys solving complex problems.Someone who is passionate about reaching their full potential.What working at EY offers We offer a competitive remuneration package and a comprehensive Total Rewards package including support for flexible working and career development.
