Tax Manager

Tax Manager Team Overview The Finance Risk Operations TIR unit in Dublin has primary responsibility for the documentation validation process for the Global and Direct Custody businesses.

Utilising a third party vendor application as well as internal systems, the unit makes decisions that impact the future taxation and onward reporting of client's income What you will do Manage a small team, or function as a single incumbent with management responsibilities for a function.

Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities, both directly and in connection with transactions with clients, including the related compliance, financial reporting, planning and controversy processes.

Assists in determining and compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing and related requirements at all levels of jurisdiction.

May participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations.

Integrates expertise and industry expertise within a defined area.

Advises on standards around which others will operate.

Requires in-depth knowledge of how areas harmoniously integrate within the sub-function.

Uses communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasionally external customers.

What we'll need from you Operations experience, in particular experience related to FATCA, US Tax, CRS.

Demonstrated experience of acting as an SME(Subject Matter Expert) within an operations environment or possesses transferable FATCA / DTT knowledge Demonstrated experience of organising and assigning workload within an operations environment, acting as a point of contact for clients and working on cross-functional projects and implementations Perform reviews of written tax policy and procedures, research and respond to inquiries from operational areas Manage TIR Service Delivery / Engagement model with client constituency and other key stakeholders Manage team that review, validate and process W-8 and W-9 tax forms and related documentation according to IRS Chapter 3, chapter 61 and FATCA regulations.

Support Technology projects from a technical tax perspective.

Develop "Go To" processes and implement appropriate procedures / controls to ensure consistent compliance with Information Reporting and FATCA requirements Benefits : Work From Home
