Mechanical engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer Location : Dublin (Hybrid) Salary : €60 K €75 K DOE Were seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading building services consultancy in Dublin.

Youll play a key role in delivering projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and residential sectors, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities : Lead mechanical design projects from feasibility through to handover.

Undertake site surveys, feasibility studies, specifications, and contract administration.

Manage mechanical services installations, ensuring delivery to quality and compliance standards.

Mentor, train, and oversee engineers and technicians within the team.

Coordinate workflows, ensuring projects meet milestones and internal QA processes.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.

Contribute to bidding, fee proposals, and project financial management.

Requirements : Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.

Minimum 35 years experience in building services design.

Proven experience managing and mentoring junior engineers / technicians.

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services design.

Proficiency in Auto CAD and other mechanical design software.

Excellent communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.

Full driving licence and access to transport.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable : Experience with Revit and other design / modelling software (training provided if required).
