Role
The Professional Services Project Engineer is a critical role responsible for managing and delivering IT projects for both new and existing clients.
This position requires the ability to schedule, manage, and ensure the completion of projects within budget and on time.
The engineer will work in Azure data center environments as well as on premise infrastructures, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of accuracy and compliance while safeguarding client data and security.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the professional services manager and team leads from other service delivery areas.
Coordinate project schedules with project managers.
Mentor and train other engineers.
Prepare, schedule, scope, and coordinate projects with account managers.
Design and build cloud-based infrastructures.
Coordinate with clients and their third-party vendors.
Ensure client data integrity and security during projects.
Installation and configuration of client infrastructure.
Produce detailed, clear, consistent, and timely documentation around project infrastructure and services.
Key Requirements

Education : College degree (three-year college or technical school) preferred in IT or related technical field.
Experience : 5-7 years of experience in Microsoft Cloud Solutions, Azure & Office 365, project management, network administration, or Tier 3 support.
IT Skills : Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure & Office 365; extensive experience with Entra and Intune; proficiency with IT hardware / software; knowledge of hypervisors like Microsoft Hyper-V & VMware; familiarity with server roles such as Active Directory, SQL, Remote Desktop Services; firewall installation / configuration; network switch installation / configuration.
