Senior Engineer

Orange Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to join our clients team on a major project in the Munster area. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take a key position on-site, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and delivery are maintained throughout the construction successful candidate will play a lead role in the technical delivery of the project, working closely with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors, and design consultants. Experience in concrete frame and general building is essential for this position. Responsibilities : Lead and support a team of junior engineers and subcontractors to ensure the smooth delivery of works on site Carry out accurate setting out from drawings and surveys, including as-built records Interpret and review technical drawings, ensuring works are carried out to specification Coordinate with subcontractors and trades on a daily basis to ensure efficient site progress Assist in the planning and sequencing of site activities to meet programme deadlines Liaise directly with the client, design team, and consultants where required Promote and maintain the highest standards in health & safety across all site activities Maintain quality control throughout construction, ensuring works meet project specifications Oversee the ordering and management of materials in line with programme requirements Ensure all site records and documentation are kept up to date and in line with company procedures Requirements : Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar engineering role within the construction industry Strong background in building and concrete frame projects Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders Proactive and driven, with a strong focus on safety, quality and delivery High level of IT literacy including MS Office and relevant engineering software Strong organisational and time-management skills
