Location : Cluain Mhuire Services Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services. Senior Occupational Therapist Permanent, Full-time Applications are invited from Occupational Therapists with experience working in mental health services. They will work as a member of the occupational therapy department and will be initially assigned to the Community Mental Health Team based in Dun Laoghaire. They will receive supervision and support from the Occupational Therapy Manager and other colleagues in the department. The successful candidates will provide a quality Occupational Therapy service reflective of CORU professional standards and ethics. They will engage in considered, client centered assessment and practice with adults affected by mental health challenges when delivering the modules assigned to them. Candidates must be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU. Candidates will require (1) clinical experience working with adults with mental health challenges; (2) knowledge of the principles of individual placement and support and (3) can demonstrate a passion for enabling people with disadvantage achieve a meaningful life. Remuneration Salary Grade 3301 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, SENIOR on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €63,912 - €75,254 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin . However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or / and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
