Role Overview

The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and providing administrative, operational, and organisational support across the business. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring a professional and efficient working environment.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
  • Coordinate and support company events, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries, ensuring professional communication at all times.
  • Ensure company policies are adhered to.
  • Manage office facilities, liaising with building management and service providers as needed.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (IT setup, desk space, induction materials).
  • Oversee general administrative support, including document management, filing, and correspondence.
  • Assist with basic business processing tasks, including sales, marketing & job costing.
  • Drive improvements in office processes, systems, and efficiency.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable with office management systems.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Qualifications

  • Relevant business administration or management qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Training in health & safety or facilities management (advantageous).
