Link Personnel have been instructed by our Client, an International Law Firm in Dublin 2, on a Senior Legal PA vacancy to Head of Department.

This will suit a candidate who has exceptional organisational skills and enjoys good autonomy in a role.

Salary : to €58k (total remuneration up to €72k)

The Role :

Provide PA support to Head of Department.

Work collaboratively with all Finance teams to proactively support fee earners' financial performance including client billing and reports, management of matter balances and working capital.

Drafting, amending, preparing correspondence and documentation to a high standard, in accordance with house style and to tight deadlines.

Dealing with client queries, ensuring they are handled in a professional, courteous and prompt manner.

Client invoicing – drafting narratives, preparing reports, and tailoring to client specification through e-billing.

Maintaining and archiving files – hard and soft copy.

Preparing pleadings and briefs and bibles for Court.

Dictaphone and copy typing.

Organising travel arrangements.

Diary management.

Other secretarial, administrative and ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested.

The Candidate :

3 – 5 years' Legal PA experience (or equivalent) gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with appropriate and effective use of grammar and punctuation.

Be a confident stakeholder manager, with evidenced experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.

Adopt a consultative and thorough approach to tasks.

Maintain efficient diary and task management across a range tasks, ensuring the accuracy and levels of service expected within a high performing team.

Have enthusiasm, resilience and ambition to find solutions to problems.

Remain calm and optimistic in time sensitive situations or under pressure.

Willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs.

High degree of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
