Claims Handler Orange Recruitment is seeking an experienced claims handler to work closely with insurers and other service providers.
You will be responsible for the efficient management of claims, working within your own authority levels ensuring settlements are achieved in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of claims from notification through to settlement.
Advise and update clients on claim progress, ensuring clear communication at all stages.
Investigate incidents / accidents, manage the IRB process, and arrange medical or engineering assessments as required.
Prepare claims data for internal and external reporting.
Implement agreed claims handling protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support Account Executives / Brokers by maintaining strong client relationships and keeping them informed of developments.
Contribute to ad hoc project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience Required Fully Qualified CIP, ACII would be highly advantageous 2+ years' experience handling claims, ideally within financial services or insurance.
Strong knowledge of the Irish claims environment, including the Injuries Board and legal processes.
Understanding of policy covers across non-life insurance classes.
Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship management skills.
