The Role :
Provide ongoing servicing to existing clients and manage relationships throughout the renewal cycleAnalyse customer needs and identify opportunities to strengthen their risk management structuresMarket client accounts to insurers and negotiate premiums on their behalfCollect and submit required documentation to underwriters and ensure accurate risk placementMaintain clear and accurate records on Applied Relay, including file notesMonitor business metrics including new business, renewals, fees, commissions, and marginsMentor and support junior Account HandlersAttend client meetings alongside the Sales team and provide technical and commercial supportLead and participate in internal business projectsStay informed of insurer appetites, market trends, and competitor activityEnsure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including Central Bank codes and internal proceduresThe Person :
6 - 10+ years ' experience in commercial broking or relevant insurance operationsDetailed technical knowledge across commercial insurance products including :Commercial PropertyEmployer ' s / Public LiabilityProfessional IndemnityCommercial FleetSpecialist lines (Agri, Marine, Engineering, Credit, Construction Bonds, Cyber etc.)Strong understanding of client businesses and industry sectorsProven track record in client account management, retention, and relationship buildingExcellent knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements in insuranceStrong communication, organisational, and analytical skillsMotivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a teamThe Rewards :
