As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our growth. The ideal candidate will have a commercial strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a successful track record in business development. Key Attributes Required : Contract Management Demonstrable success in negotiating and managing a diverse portfolio of contracts across public and private sectors while ensuring delivery of contractual commitments and delivery of business objectives Client Acquisition Ability to identify, pursue, and secure contracts across a range of business partners and property-owners in both public and private sectors Commercial and Negotiation Expertise Skilled in building proposals and handling development negotiations that meet client needs while balancing organisational profitability and sustainable growth Team Collaboration Capability of work effectively across several business functions within the Irish business and across BMO Group. Collaborate with colleagues (Sales & Marketing; Operations; Finance etc) to align business strategies Analytical and Data-Driven Approach Analytical, data-driven approach to support decision-making. An ability to use data (ROI metrics) to justify business investment decisions and optimise business strategies. Presentation and Communication Skills Comfortable presenting to a broad range of stakeholders (across public and private sectors) with clarity, purpose and confidence. Represent BMO Ireland at events, conferences, and other networking opportunities. Entrepreneurial Spirit Commercially astute and results driven. Resilient, proactive with a hands-on approach understanding collaboration, agility and ownership are success drivers Environmental Sustainability Development Interest in the development of a range of environmental initiatives to support delivery of corporate climate sustainability objectives. Requirements : Proven ability to negotiate and successfully secure contracts; ideally experience gained within a commercial development role Ability to successfully work to targets and drive growth with strategic awareness Results driven aligned with ability to form mutually successful professional partnerships Experience of tracking and reporting on business development activities and performance metrics Ability to form successful client and partner relationships with strong communication skills Demonstratable commercial acumen Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or related field desirable Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, or similar systems, plus Excel / Power BI for data reporting Full driving licence is essential (travel within Ireland is key requirement for role; flexibility to travel is essential to fulfil role).
