Business Development Executive

to join their Sales & Marketing team.

The Role

As Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in expanding market presence and strengthening client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include :

Researching, identifying, and converting new business opportunities across MICE, corporate, group, and leisure sectors

Building strong relationships with corporate clients, agents, tour operators, and event organisers

Preparing tailored proposals and delivering clear, engaging presentations

Networking to generate referrals and raise brand visibility

Attending trade shows, networking events, and sales missions to represent the hotel

Conducting site inspections, familiarisation trips, and client presentations

Collaborating with the marketing team on targeted campaigns and promotional activities

Maintaining accurate records and reporting via CRM and sales pipeline tools

About You

The ideal candidate will bring :

At least 2 years' experience in a sales or business development role

Strong knowledge of the Irish and UK corporate, MICE, or tourism sectors

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

A self-motivated, commercially minded, and target-driven approach

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

A full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel as required

Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
