Dublin CONTRACT TYPE : Full time Permanent SALARY RANGE - €35,000 - €40,000 (Depending on experience) COMPANY BACKGROUND Jackie Tracey Interiors is a high performing, founder-led business that is entering its next phase of growth. We are a full-service interior design and architecture studio and are currently in the process of establishing a Retail Showroom and Studio. We are also in the process of opening our own Warehouse. We cater for the commercial and hospitality sectors, high-end residential developments and one-off private residential commissions. We are passionate about design, and we pride ourselves on having built up a solid reputation for listening to and interpreting our clients needs, resulting in successfully delivered projects. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Due to continued growth, the opening of a new warehouse and the upcoming diversification into Retail, Jackie Tracey Interiors is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor. This is a newly created role and represents a unique opportunity for someone to gain significant experience and exposure to all areas of Warehousing, Retail and systems. The role will report directly to the Financial Controller. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; Laise with Suppliers / Procurement manager on scheduling of delivery arrivals Receive Goods in Warehouse and pack away in Designated Location safely and securely stacked Label Goods received with Label noting PO number, Supplier, Date received, Project Reference Visually inspect Goods on Arrival and notify Procurement manager immediately if any damage or quality issues before accepting and signing for the Goods Work with Procurement Manager to design the Layout of the Warehouse and the Location for Racking / shelving etc Receive refresher Training and qualification for operating Forklift / pallet stacker. Operate Forklift / pallet stacker to Safety standards at all times Visually inspect and ensure forklift / pallet stacker is kept in good condition and report any issues or maintenance required Visually inspect Mezzanine and Racking on a regular basis Receive Goods on Shopify system and match to Shopify PO noting any discrepancies immediately and raising these with Procurement Manager Organise and Plan Despatches / Deliveries Out with Procurement Manager and Delivery Provider ensuring to meet expected departure times Load stock into Delivery Vehicle when ready for Despatch Ensure docket is signed by Delivery Driver before departure Record Despatches / Deliveries to Customers on Shopify ensuring stock levels are updated Update Spreadsheets for Arrivals and Despatches for Procurement Manager Perform Accurate Stock counts as requested by Finance Reconcile Shopify System stock to Physical Stock Highlight any obsolete stock or damaged stock to Finance / Procurement immediately if noticed Manage and uphold Health and Safety standards in the Warehouse Responsibility for reporting of any maintenance required in the warehouse When required, deliver Goods to Clients and assist with Assembly on Site Collect goods for Procurement Manager & Construction Manager as required Work with Procurement Manager on Capacity Planning for the Warehouse highlight potential Capacity constraints well in advance Keep appropriate Records and details of any stock stored in third party locations Work with Procurement Manager to organise return of defected or damaged Goods Candidate Requirements Full drivers Licence essential Experience with Forklifts / pallet stackers Previous experience working in a warehouse role using systems essential (receiving goods, printing labels, stock counts etc) Person must be very organised with great attention to detail.
